I've been dreaming of the day I would get in the car with my husband my dog and just drive. It finally happened. As we were driving down I95, still in jersey I was like...wow, I can't believe this is finally happening. Our itinerary en route to Vegas is as follows:
Sun thru Tues - Asheville, North Carolina (http://www.exploreasheville.com/index.aspx)
Tues thru Thurs - Hot Springs, Arkansas (http://www.hotsprings.org/)
Thurs thru Sat - Sante Fe, New Mexico (http://www.santafe.org/)
I have my handy road tripping books. We plan on stopping in towns along our route to check out the local cuisine and see what's goin on America. Stay tuned.
