My parents have a "Wirehaired Pointing Griffon" which is really similar to an Italian breed called Spinone. His name is Nero. As we were driving up a windy, country road in Tolfa we saw a Nero lookalike. There was a griffon running around, no collar, in the middle of the street with cars whizzing past, but he didn't care. We had to stop the car and meet this great dog. He loved us so much he jumped in the car before we had a chance to close the door. Too bad he couldn't come home with us :( We kicked him out the car and moved on.....

You should have brought that dog home for your brother. Then, we could have conspired to "off" Leo and we could all be happy again.
